What is a Registered Design?

Registered designs are designs registered and accepted by the UK Intellectual Property Office providing the owner of the designs legal protection against copying. The Presenter, Running, Going the Distance, Number One and the Big Seven are all Registered Designs and the property of Nigel and Paula Broderick.

What wood is used for the trophies?

Only sustainable hardwood is used for all trophies. Resin bonded wood such as MDF and plywood is strictly outlawed!

What are the crystals?

The crystals used in our trophies are manufactured in Austria and are the highest quality lead free cut glass crystals on the market with extra facets and platinum backing for outstanding brilliance and sparkle.

What protection is applied to the wood?

Trophies are protected with a blend of natural oils and waxes to produce a durable silk/matt finish.

Are the trophies handmade individually?

Every trophy is made individually using traditional tools. Modern CNC machines cannot produce some of the fine detail required and laser cutting would reduce wood of the thickness used to ash. The process may be slow, but the result is that two pieces are never identical.

How long does delivery take?

The exact time depends on how many orders are received at any time, but it is usually 3-5 working days before the trophy is dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
